Two Reporters, One Community, Endless Gratitude

A piece of torn paper revealing the message 'Thank You For Your Support!' against an orange background.

We here at the Bar Harbor Story, all two of us, wanted to make sure you received a thank you all for the support that you’ve given us this year.

The Bar Harbor Story is shaped by you, the people of our community and all of our big loves and worries and needs and joys. None of it would be possible without you.

Every kind message, every moment of support, every subscription (free or paid or founding) mean the world to us. We are endlessly grateful to have you as part of our story.

Making sure that everyone has quick and free access to our communities’ news is so important to us because community is so important to us. But because this takes so much time that keeps us from making a living in other ways, we’re really dependent on you and our sponsors to keep us going without going broke.

So, thank you.

Thank you to all our voluntary paid subscribers. Thank you to our founding members this year. Thank you to our sponsors this year and to the people who randomly give. All of their support allows us to keep the Bar Harbor Story going and free with no paywalls, so maybe send them some love or show yourself some love. You’ve made us possible.

And thank you to all of you reading this for believing in us, for trusting us, for helping us, for celebrating with us and grieving with us.

We are so honored and grateful to be in this community with you.
