A few people have said that they’ve liked to support us beyond a paid subscription, which is really lovely and kind of them.

The truth is that our goal is to keep the news for free, but this news blog has taken over our lives a bit. Every meeting we cover, every event, every topic research means hours of lost income. And that’s okay because it’s our passion. And it’s also okay because our goal isn’t to make money at this. Our goal is to make sure that people have the news they need to be informed members of the community and also the information they need to celebrate the good stories of other members of the community.

All that said, money is always helpful, so if you feel like it? Go ahead and donate.

We’re not going to keep asking you for money. We promise. But we might put the donate button on the bottom of our posts occasionally.

And you don’t need to donate or be a paid subscriber to get all our stories. That isn’t the point. The point is to make the news and information available to everyone no matter how rich or poor you are. We love you just the same and we are so glad you’re here.
