BAR HARBOR—Evening Music, the series of chamber-music concerts presented by the Friends of Music at St. Saviour’s, continues its 2025-26 season on Saturday, 15 November, at 4 p.m. The concert will consist of two major works for piano-duet (one piano with four hands, that is, two players at one keyboard) by Franz Schubertand Maurice Ravel, performed on the historic 1901 Steinway grand piano at St. Saviour’s Episcopal Church by Anne Sears and Daniel Pyle.

Phil Bailey will lead A Depolarizing Within workshop which teaches us to look at our own attitudes towards the political “other,” and develop strategies for engaging in politics without demonizing those we disagree with. We will look at methods for constructively intervening in conversations with like-minded peers when those conversations stereotype or demonize the other side.

This month’s meeting will be held both in person at the Moore Community Center and via Zoom. Pre-registration for Zoom participation is required in advance by noon the day before the meeting at www.hancockdems.org. You will receive a unique link you will need to use to join the meeting.
