THANKS TO THE CHAMBER’S TEAM
To the Editor,
As chair of the membership and marketing committee for the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce, I want to extend my sincere thanks to the Chamber staff on behalf of the entire board of directors for their energy, creativity, and deep commitment to our community — especially during this year’s Fourth of July celebration.
From Timber Tina’s unforgettable show and the live music that filled the streets, to the spectacular fireworks display and all the joyful moments in between, the day was an extraordinary expression of community spirit. The level of coordination, attention to detail, and sheer passion it takes to deliver such a memorable experience is no small feat, and it deserves to be recognized.
The Chamber’s revitalized team has brought a renewed sense of purpose and momentum to Bar Harbor. Their leadership is already evident — from organizing a new Young Professionals group with more than 40 participants, to rallying volunteers, and even beginning early planning for next year’s Independence Day festivities. Their excitement is contagious, and it’s inspiring to see the way they’re investing in both our traditions and our future.
We’re all eagerly anticipating their upcoming work on the Village Holidays and other community projects that will continue to enrich the lives of residents and support the vitality of local businesses. The care they bring to their work and the relationships they’re nurturing are already making a lasting impact.
To the entire Chamber team — thank you. Your dedication shines brightly, and we are grateful for all that you do.
Warmly,
Rachel L. Crater
