Board Meeting Tonight Cancelled
BAR HARBOR—The after school programs have been cancelled today because of the storm.
The AOS board meeting tonight, scheduled at MDI High School is also cancelled. We’ll update when we have a new date and time. This is the meeting where early release days and next year’s school calendar might have been voted on.
As of 11:49 there were multiple accidents and roads down to one-lane throughout Hancock County and on the island, including a single-car rollover in Ellsworth.
During the storm this morning, Bar Harbor Fire Department responded to a residence on Edgewood Road. That incident will be updated in the police log once we can verify the details. All fire units were clear at 11:31 and the property owner was continuing the cleanup.
