BAR HARBOR—It’s our weekly piece documenting Bar Harbor town government and other similar meetings that we know of. Please let us know if we’ve missed something. Also, sometimes things are on the town calendars and are cancelled or rescheduled, so make sure to double check before you head over!
All the meetings take place at the Bar Harbor Municipal Building at 93 Cottage Street unless otherwise noted. And they usually have a time for public comments. This is not true about executive sessions.
So, go! Be informed! Be part of the process. You deserve to be.

TUESDAY
Bar Harbor Town Council and Warrant Committee Joint Budget Workshop

Time: 8:30 PM or immediately after joint session, whichever is earlier

According to the town calendar there is also a special Town Council Meeting that will occur after the joint budget workshop. As of press time, there is no posted agenda (the agenda posted is the same as the one above). Communications Coordinator Maya Caines has been made aware of this and when she lets us know what the agenda is, we’ll update the article.
The information currently provided by the town does not say if this is an executive session or not. It is also currently unknown if this is a scheduled time to discuss (or potentially appoint) an interim town manager after Town Manager Kevin Sutherland’s resignation last Wednesday.
UPDATE: This article has been changed to show the executive session agenda for Tuesday. According to Communications Director Maya Caines there was a glitch on the website, which has now been fixed.
