BAR HARBOR — This weekend there will likely be little rest for a lot of retailers, shoppers, and bed racers in Bar Harbor, as the town celebrates with the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce’s annual Pajama Sale and Bed Races.

Starting at 6 a.m. this Saturday morning, you can stay in your pajamas and knock out some of that holiday shopping or just get some good deals!

Shoppers (and bed racers) are encouraged to arrive early in pajamas for the 30th annual Early Bird Pajama Sale and 16th annual Bed Races, Saturday, Nov. 8.

Pajama attire often earns discounts from participating shops.

Those who bring local receipts prior to Sunday, noon, Nov. 9, to the Chamber’s Visitor Center could potentially win two round-trip Cape Air tickets from Bar Harbor to Boston.

Local businesses participating are listed in the images below. Sponsors include First National Bank, the Bar Harbor Hospitality Group, and Cape Air.

If weather conditions change or precipitation increases, the chamber will share an update.
