It’s packed with news, so please try this new format out. We’ll make our decision about it next week.
A quick note from us one more time: Each week we compile briefs and put them out in one long article.
We do that so that:
- You get press releases from agencies, which is a common aspect of a local newspaper.
- You don’t get 10 emails every day, which is what would happen if we separated it all out and sent each to you individually.
However, though we are committed to getting these press releases to you, these briefs have been easily our least read story each week.
So, we’re trying a different way even though it’s a bit more work for us.
From now on, we’re going to post those press releases as we get to them just to the website, and then also compile them here as shares rather than posting the entire release in the body of this story.
If you click through to a release that interests you, you can read it in its entirety.
We are also going to compile all the state releases we receive and all the federal releases, but just as one article each. Those are below as well. They tend to be a bit wordy.
You can always keep up with all the briefs throughout the week by clicking here. We also try to share them on Facebook, Instagram, and BlueSky. We do not currently have a Twitter, but if you all want us to, we’ll get one. Just let us know.
