MOUNT DESERT ISLAND AND TRENTON—During the summer months, there is a lot to do for everyone on Mount Desert Island and Trenton. Since we’re only two people here (and we already bombard your email inbox with news), we’re trying out a new feature where we bring you photos of just some of the places we hopped over to and compile them in this one—mostly photos—article. This story will usually go out on Mondays.

Why are we doing this? Well, because we think it’s good to see what our neighbors (and visitors) are up to.

Also, we began this weekend in photos coverage on Thursday because we’re rebels like that.

Finally, if during a weekend you are at an event (or see something) and you want us to include it, just send it over when you have time, okay? We’re really sorry that we can’t be everywhere.

We’ll have a quick survey at the end of this article about whether or not you think it’s a good idea or not.
