BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS It began with the blessing of the animals on the Village Green. The event was organized by the Bar Harbor Congregational Church and Kiah Baxter. According to the church, “Join in a spirited celebration of our connection with the natural world, with a blessing of animals (two- and four-legged creatures welcome !), and a time to remember animal companions who have died. All creatures great & small welcome.” WAG! WALK! RUN!
